Paige & Jack’s 2 Day Flathead Valley Wedding

How did Paige & Jack get here?

When we began chatting with Paige and Jack about a year before their wedding date, they knew they needed some locally based Kalispell Montana Photographers to guide them along their way to a two day wedding experience.  Ya see, Paige and Jack wanted a gorgeous Flathead Valley wedding showcasing Montana and its luxury to them and their beloved guests.  Even though Paige and Jack were intending on bringing guests, they also knew their sense of adventure wouldn’t be fulfilled without a second day for a day after session to celebrate their vows.  We were stoked to guide them through the process with planning resources, planning calls, and funny memes sent week after week until we finally arrived to their wedding day.  Here’s a glimpse of the magic that ensued.

Paige and Jack’s Attention to Detail

When I tell you that Paige and Jack went above and beyond when curating their details I mean it.  This was easily one of our favorite sets of details for the entire season as every piece of who Paige and Jack are was celebrated with their details.  Some of the more notable details were Paige’s Bride’s Prayer Book passed down through generations, their Jewish breaking glasses, and their stunningly curated invitations and timelines for guests.  Let’s not forget their chic and earthy wedding attire!  From beginning to end Paige and Jack’s details reigned supreme.

Getting Ready on a Gloriously Sunny Day with an Artful First Look

Paige and Jack’s Airbnb was large enough to hold all their guests and provide a scenic location for them all to lounge around and get ready.  This massive Airbnb was located in Kalispell making it a great centralized location for all their wedding festivities as well.

Paige and Jack got ready surrounded by their parties and family.  They utilized the venue’s indoor balcony for their first look making their first look feel cozy and glamorous simultaneously.  The joy that radiated was felt all through the house as Paige and Jack felt the nerves rush away before heading to their ceremony location.

A Ceremony Among Glacier’s Peaks

When helping Paige and Jack find their ceremony location, Paige and Jack kept being torn on whether to do their ceremony inside Glacier National Park or outside the park where they could set up a chuppah to celebrate Paige’s Jewish heritage.  Glacier National Park has very strict rules on ceremonies, and we definitely wanted to honor those.  After doing some digging (as we’re really good at lol), we found a location for their ceremony allowing a chuppah that also viewed into Glacier National Park so there were no sacrifices when it came to location.

Paige and Jack got out of the park just drenched in the Flathead Valley sunlight for their 2 PM ceremony!  Florals were being placed on their chuppah as we arrived, and after some pre-ceremony portraits we were ready to get these two finally wed after a year of planning!

Paige and Jack’s ceremony was officiated by Jack’s dad and included elements such as a blessing from Paige’s dad, vows, rings, and the breaking of the glass.  Wind rushed around the two whipping between the mountain ranges to make for an emotionally dramatic ceremony.  There ceremony concluded with a generous “mosel tov” and champagne toast with their guests!  Not to mention those long awaited group photos with guests.

Lake McDonald Portraits

Paige and Jack had a bit of time to kill before their catered dinner back at their lodging so we went into the park along the shores of Lake McDonald.  As is tradition, Paige and Jack skipped rocks, and we even got to check out a sailboat getting whisked around the lake.

An Intimate and Glamorous Dinner with Guests

To celebrate their nuptials, Paige and Jack invited all of their guests back to their lodging to chillax, eat yummy foods, and hang by the fire.  As was expected from these two the details of their dinner all the way down to the cutlery were immaculate.  Using hushed fall tones, Paige coordinated the Pinterest worthy dinner of all dinners for her guests.  Let’s not forget the food was sensationally drool-worthy.

Guests waited on the food around the lounge area outside while grabbing some horderves and drinks.  Once the food was ready, their dinner included some traditional elements such as speeches from parents and the blessing of the bread and wine.  Everyone grubbed until they couldn’t grub anymore, and we all headed outside for dances lit by the fire.  That’s the end of day 1, but the very next day Paige and Jack had another adventure planned for just the two of them!  Check out the vendors for their day 1 below, but be sure and check out their day 2!
